How to apply?
Please make sure you complete all the following steps to successfully submit an abstract:

• Register on the YEAR2010 website.
• Confirm your registration via the automated email to the address you provided.
• Log in to the YEAR2010 website.
• Write your abstract according to the guidelines outlined on the website.
• Upload your abstract via the Submit an Abstract tab on this page.

How do I register on the YEAR2010 website?

1. Please use Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer for registration procedure and abstract submission, some other browser have issues and do not submit the data correctly or at all.
2. On the YEAR2010 site homepage (http://year2010.fehrl.org/) click on the blue ‘registration’ tab along the top banner, above the username and password boxes.
3. A Users form appears which requires you to fill out your name, organisation, country of study, email etc. You must fill in your desired Username and Password. You must remember you username and password to log in to the site in future. You will also be required to enter the letters from an image for verification.
4. Once you submit this form a User Management message will appear stating ‘You can log into the system, after you confirm your registration email. An email with confirmation link was just sent to the email account you provided upon registration’.
5. After you confirm your registration via email you should be informed that you account was successfully confirmed. Once you see this screen you can then login to site using the username and password you provided at registration.

How do I log in to the YEAR2010 website?

1. Across the top banner containing the logo on any page of the website you will see two green boxes, one for your username and one for your password. Once you enter these details, which you provided at time of registration, click on the blue arrow beside the boxes .
2. If you log in is successful you will see your name appear on the top right corner of the banner.

How do I upload an abstract for submission to the competition?

1. Once logged into the site, go to the Submit tab on the grey navigation bar under the main logo banner on the top of the page.
2. Once in the Submit page, you will see a secondary navigation bar in pink under the main navigation bar, click on Submit an Abstract.
3. A form will appear which requires you to fill in details such as Institution/University, Pillar, keywords etc. 
4. An abstract must be submitted in the correct format, so please clink in the link above the form to see instructions and a sample abstract, or alternately see http://year2010.fehrl.org/index.php?m=27. 
5. Once you hit Submit you should than be informed that your abstract was submitted successfully.
6. To check that it is now live, go back to the main Abstracts page and your abstract should now appear on the list for to all to view.
